The Visualist Operations
We showed Jackie’s awesome video ( https://canva.link/8gy7960ni3ndqe1 )that uses research process: (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jx6MSRE1JMZcL9F7rUJ6VqWvx761SG80?2.)
We looked at the job description and decided to volunteer as a quarterly bassis.
We will be making an application process to help with the events list and will present it at the next meeting
New Language for the Visualist
We have final language and it is live!
We also need a good text for our support page and Meg and Michael are working on that here Support us
Fundraising
Our Fundraiser will be on Giving Thursday, December 3rd
We will be setting a venue
The funds will come through something like go-fund me because there is a bar that shows what the work can do
It will be a bake sale with Santa cosplay
We want to raise funds leading up to the event which will act as a celebration for reaching our goal. We can do this through donations, if you make a donation, you can come. We will also create a venue booklet that will be available at the event, but that might be for people who make a certain donation.
Meg will take the venues out of the spreadsheet and Trejon will do a quick mock-up so we can make a quick quote for having it done on the Riso
Meg opened a spreadsheet for sponsorship and partners. (FUNDRAISER CONTACTS.xlsx)
We want to raise at least $25,000 this will allow us to do phase 1 and 2 of the website and cover barebones operations next year.
Note: we also want to do something in spring at the Night Heron
Web Development
We would like to move forward with the proposal from made with best practice. Meg and Michael are reaching out with next steps
